Children day at NDBS 2020

“TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE ,WHAT YOU NEED IS EDUCATION” – PANDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU
Children’s Day is celebrated in India to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlala Nehru ,Independent India’s first Prime Minister .The occasion is celebrated on 14th November every year with great splendor and grandeur .The day is celebrated to pay tribute to this legendary freedom fighter for his long struggle to achieve independence from the British .To add on ,Nehru was extremely fond of young children .It is due to his love and passion that this day is marked as Children’s day, thereby honoring childhood. This occasion is commemorated on a national level with celebration in our school.
This year due to pandemic, this occasion was celebrated virtually .Children showed their talents by drawing pictures, by making cards and delivering speech.
